First Time at NPH

Want to launch and fish first time at Newport Harbor. Looked around 2 weeks ago and the place is huge. Where is a good place to launch. Got a Hobie Outback on a trailer.

Try the Harbor Patrol / Coast Guard Beach off of Bayside Drive. There is a small parking lot but no trailer parking. There is some on street parking though. Not sure that you can park a trailer there though.

You should be able to drive into the Harbor Patrol parking lot to unload your outback and then head out to the main street to park. Bring your freshwater bass gear and work the docks/moorings. If you have sonar, look for eel grass and fish it.
