Saturday--La Jolla Shores Launch Anyone? - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

Fished it yesterday, the launch was small as ever but yes very big around the point. The rolling swell was suprisingly small. The best part was that the surf warning and the shark sighting seemed to keep everyone away. My client and I were the only ones out there and it was very nice. Saw several nice schools of YT but they had lock jaw. Had them swim right by out baits with out a look. Made perfect casts to breezers and they would turn away. They gotta eat sometime, go get em.

Thanks for the surf info, and thanks for "guiding" me into kayak fishing (at La Jolla) a decade ago!
