I ordered them from Wheeleze and made the cart from 1" PVC, some old surf pads and strap and there you have it . the axle iss 1/2" solid aluminum, I can fully load that kayak and center the load onn thecart and it pulls like a dream.. thru soft sand, I have another set of wheels for when I go up north for the hard pack around the lakes , The cart beaks down and stores in the kayak even the wheelezes fit inside, quick release on the wheels, ![]() Well worth the money for the wheeleze, I debated that issue for a while but glad I did ... no regrets. no back ache either... ![]() These wheels are the next size up from those smaller wheels on the hobie carts They have a higher weight cap. and dont plow into the sand at all, maybe a 1/2" depression if that.
