The Izorline Booth is in the last building - in the 2nd row from the right as you pass through the doors.
I don't know the number of the booth.

Look for Wendy Tochihara she is working the booth.

That's really cool. I always wondered how well I'm doing with my knots. The only test I can make is when I snag on rocks or kelp and then spend the next 5-10 minutes pulling up the line without flipping over and either I get my tackle back in one piece, or the line breaks. But after pulling so fricken hard, I can't help thinking that my knot is holding up.

Bump.

went by there yesterday and tried a couple knots, mine broke at 99.5# on 60lb!! that put me in the lead for a bit and i was stoked, but somebody came through and it broke at 102. #

had visions of fishing that new calstar haha!

im going back on sunday and will try a couple more, its a fun way to give and support the mlpa fund and some needy kids!!

Its very addicting isn't it .. ? lol

The knots I tied were the real world knots I use while fishing. I was happy to see them break a good amount above that 60 lb. test.

The ring used on the machine is always going to break our knots sooner than what would happen if they were tied to a smaller diameter hook ring.
-So it takes a special application more suited to the ring diameter.

A few things that work.
-Draw the knot the shortest distance possible.
-Don't cinch the knot down like a gorilla - draw it uniform and let the machine do the serious tightening.
-Tie it wet if you can. This is a little tricky, but it helps.
-Double all the knots.

and lastly don't yank on the tag end hard, draw it uniform, but not seated too tight. This step can and will damage a critical part of the working line.

Never found the booth. Wish they had a map of vendors - but, that is additional cost, I know.

I agree. A map would have been very helpful. I wasted a lot of time walking back and forth looking for vendors. Even just a list of the vendors and stages in each building would have worked.
I did find the Izor booth but didn't want to wait in that crush of people to see if my knots are worth a damn. I guess I'll find out when I hook a decent fish
