1 ice wrap, a can of WD40 a Hobie carrying strap, and 70 Lbs of little girl fury was all it took.
I iced the handle down for about two hours then soaked it with wd 40 let sit for about 30 mins. Tied the carrying strap off the had both of my girls pull while I tapped on the shaft with a rubber mallet came apart in a few mins. Thanks to all for the advice.
