That Sucks, must of been a truck to pick it up that fast. Will keep a look out for it.

Some yahoody scooped up your yak in a pick up truck.
He could have thought it was there for hours, and left for dead.

It sucks that it happened. I think I will go check my Thule rack for tightness.

What's really mind boggling is that the night prior and at the time of departure, the equipment was tight and snug.

I hope you find your kayak.

I always worry about my kayak when I drive between Oceanside and San Clemente. It's usually very windy near the marine base and I have stopped a few times there to tighten my straps.

It looks like someone else lost a kayak in a similar way.

sorry for you loss, did ya at least get any fish to make up for it?

also, i recently heard of thule's flying off a camper shell with a brand new pro angler attached that was also stolen.
