Late post for Tues 02/24/09

Jared, Andy, and myself headed out around 5:30am at the shores. Made squid on irons... for some reason they wouldn't hit the small squid jigs. Long story short Jared ended up with about a 150lb black seabass, Andy, who had never caught a yellowtail from his kayak before ended up with a 26 and 33 pounder, as well as an estimated 50lb black seabass. After watching these guys pulling on fish, I was beginning to think it was going to be one of those days where I watch everyone around me catch a beauty. Thankfully my luck changed and I ended up with a 27 and 29 pounder.
Congrats Andy on your first 2 kayak YT's!

I wanna go fishing with morgan.

I might take out the Hobie Outback, though. It looks like Andy is going to sink even before he caught his second .

Hahaha!
Yeah, maybe now that he's landed a couple of beauties he'll upgrade the boat... He had to hand me the second fish because he was literally starting to sink... Gotta love it!
See you on the water Josh

I second that Morgan you bastard. I got out there on Thursday to no avail. I talked with Jared who said he was on the watching side on Tuesday. I think he called you a name as well. I guess I need to go fishing with Morgan as well!

Hey Morgan, way to go man! You don't know me but I got to see you weigh in a 240# yellowfin a few weeks ago from the Rooster. You were so humble about the whole deal, it was so cool. Now you're gettin yellows locally! Where can I get some of the "juju"? TP

Nice job guys, I remember seeing that funky zebra painted kayak, glad you caught # 1 & 2. Looks like Rastrev enjoying the day too. (background of pic)
