I like to bounce around to differnt holes in the kelp burning fishtraps across the surface. No secret there you will catch fish! mostly calis but you never no whats lurking down there.

there is an endless amount of ways to fish plastics. Not to mention a seemingly endless amount of plastics styles.
Plastic Navy has some good info on a few techniques. |

When you fish the kelp with swimbaits, do you use weedless leadheads? Or is using heavy line to rip any snags free better?

I dont use weedless hooks. some people might. i just use 15 or 20lb test the only time i really snag is if my bait lands on top of the kelp.
