The game clips are used to secure the fish, simply stick it through their gills. Some people drag their catch along side of them, others put the fish with the game clip through them, in the back well of their kayak. They're versatile, so pretty much what ever works for you goes. The game bags are way over $40, maybe you could use a trash bag with some ice packs.

throw the fish in the hull. it will be fine. throw it on ice when you get back to your vehicle if you got a long drive home. if you catch a big one you will probably be satified and ready to go anyway. But what do i no i cant remeber the last fish i caught worth keeping its been so long haha.

Gaff it, bring it on board, put it on the game clip, gill, gut. Then, leave it on deck and throw a burlap sack over it. Keep the sack wet by splashing or dunking it every ten minutes or so. This works very well, especially if there is any wind. You can get the sacks at Squidco for sure, and probably any other tackle shop. Cheap and effective, but definitely get the fish on ice as soon as you can.
