Wow...
Maybe the shark had a mouth full of wahoo and king mackerel, sorry for both of your losses.
Definitely a scary moment. At least everyone made it in safe. The attack sounds like a great white mistaken identity the way it swam off. That's some hardcore kayak fishing right there. Thanks for sharing.

Back in the Saddle Again
The buddy who got attacked by the shark patched the holes in his kayak, scrounged up some rods, bought a new GoPro, and went out and did it again... That is he caught another Wahoo.
![]() The only kayak angler that I know of to catch 2 Wahoo in two consecutive fishing trips. Running steadily with a silent torqeedo motor is ideal for Wahoo. |
