The crowds are the very reason I'm going to buy a kayak light to go night fishing. Fishing when sun is down = easy parking/no crowds.
 Same goes with Mission Bay and SD Bay. I agree it will be nice when summer winds down. Been looking at the webcams everyday noticing slightly fewer people the last few days.
