I also caught a legal lingcod 2 days ago, after got it on board.
It spin the second dropper loop hook into my Knee !

I had to hammer it to death so I can get that hook out ! Ouch !!

Man! sticky situation .I try to quickly dispatch all fish harvested at the gaff .. thanks for sharing
