In celebration of this glorious day, how did you decide to prepare your yellowtail for your family and friends when you got home?

Now that's a report!
Congratulations on the upcoming retirement and fish.
I'm glad you find peace on the water. That is exactly what we try to give to our veteran guests during our HEROES ON THE WATER events.
Thank you for your service and I hope to see you on the water soon.

I don't post much on this forum, but I had to come on here and say THANK YOU for your service and sacrifices. Awesome report, I could feel the adrenaline sitting here at my work computer, great pictures, great story, great write-up, super adventure!

It's heartwarming to see so much support for our military.

Big congrats on your upcoming retirement, thank you for your service to our country and big props for shaking that "0 for " on your scoresheet.
That is awesome! Great to know that it can be done even for rookies...hoping to do the same myself soon.

Great report, beautiful photos, and super 2-fer YTs. Thanks for protecting our country/families and Congrats on your upcoming retirement . There is only one way to cure your addiction - more time otw!
Would also be interested in learning how you prepared your fish as I got my first yesterday too.

olive oil on both sides, salt/pepper, then garlic on both sides and then placed them in hot olive oil and seared both sides until nice and brown..they were amazing. I also made some poke, with just teriyaki, soy, sesame oils, half a lime, salt, red pepper flakes, cucumber, only a couple green onions and of course this amazing fish..it was gone super fast..i just adjusted the ingredients to make sure it had a great taste! CONGRATS on yours!!
