Dave, I wanted to throw out an estimated cost for the trip. Renting a kayak there for three days is $140 versus paying an additional $40 added to your R/T fare to ship your kayak, hence the $100 difference. So $200 your yak, $300 their yak.

We are not sure of the exact cost of the transferring kayaks across the isthmus and delivery of gear to the site, as we will be paying an hourly rate. I will be putting up an itemized breakdown of the cost. This may be limited to 30 people, but the Flyer has been very accommodating and will work with us however they can. We could charter her for a mere $7800

....I had to ask.
