Holy cow! Ron the man with the BIG rod is coming?
...or is it the BENT rod? Robbie already announced that you are staying in his tent. |

Im gonna have to see about getting that Sunday off and about leaving the kid with my in-laws for the weekend. If I can manage it wife and I will come. If not we need to do another one after the holidays. Maybe somewhere like Lake Morena or something even.

Camping with the sewer boys.
Friday night the dinner will go something like this:
Pour one third of a red cup of rum top off with coke. Sit down and enjoy. Pour another cup of rum. Tell a bull shiiit fishing story. Listen to Ron's b.s. scallops story. Tell tony to stop grabbing your butt every time he walks by. Pour another cup. Start a good fire and develop a nice charcoal/ambers for the open fire steaks. BBQ steaks. Open the second bottle of rum. Explain to George why Candy has been spending so much time at my house. Eat stakes and listen to Tony's b.s. stories.... Fall out of my chair for no apparent reason. Blame someone or something. Bust out the cheesecake, eat with hands, too drunk to get up and get fork. Pour half the rum all over the table as I can't aim anymore. Tell Roby to get out of your sleeping bag. |

I hope Tony doesn't get all touchy-feely like he did during our Mexico kayak adventure, Roby and Greg still have nightmares about that trip.

Camping reservations will be made tomorrow, it looks like we'll be reserving a total of 3 campsites.
Caden, if you are bringing your family you will need to reserve it own your own. The campsites that we are reserving are based on a single camper and not as a family. There is a link on thread #1 that will give you a link to Irvine Lake.

Roby was asking if there was any way he can "work off" some of the costs?
I told him that since you two are sharing a tent that "a special arrangement" can be figured out. Can't wait for Friday. |

If your there by 3pm you don't have to pay fishing fees for Friday. I'll try to get there at or around 3. Were not gonna have too much sunlight to get set up but...we'll be ok.
It's gonna be cold out there, so make sure you guys are prepared for it.

Glad you can make it Stan! Don't forget to post what your going to bring! Ron "Godzilla" is in. He'll probably bring lobster as well and his firepit with firewood. Well guys, I went to the lake to check out what's happ'n over there. Gopro'd a little..the lake level is very low at the moment. If your familiar with the lake it starts at about the entrance to woody's cove. You can pretty much drive half way up the lake on the west shore. The launch ramp is completely dry, I haven't seen the lake this low in many years. Now the fish seem to be concentrated along the west shore. I don't think that the troll bite is going to be very good for our trip but fishing bait or trout worms seems like it's going to be the hot ticket. A lot of fish were caught tight to shore this weekend. Hopefully the weather works out for us on our trip. I also checked with the lake staff and they Ok'ed wood burning campfires weather permitting of course. Come on out and have a good time camp'n and fishing with team sewer and meet some guys from BWE! Heres a short video preview I put together. Enjoy, hope to see you there! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnuK73LZv1A

I wonder if it would help if we all brought a five gallon bucket of water.

***********CAMPING UPDATE***********
We will be reserving three sites for this event(more if needed). One of the three sites will be a used as a camping/food area combo. Those who chose to stay at one of our reserved camp sites can do so but we will need to know no later than Thursday 11/14 so that we can reserve the camp sites on Friday 11/15. Each camp site will cost $25/day, we will be dividing the total cost of the three or four sites between the total number of campers at each of the sites:
three sites @ $25 per day/14 campers = $10.71428571428571 (please bring exact change) If you have any questions feel free to ask or PM either me or Tony (ful-rac).
