Salt Away?

Does anyone ever use salt away to clean their reels off at the end of the day? I was thinking about getting some and im seeing if anyone has an opinion on it.

I used it the first time last year - rinsed the reels off as usual, then sprayed them with Salt Away and put them on the rack. The next week when I went to get them the reels seemed to have a waxy coating on them. Really didnt affect anything, and the coating seems to last a long time. I stopped using it on reels and just rinse now, but I do spray down the Mirage Drive on the Hobie to keep the chains and pins from rusting and it works good for that.

I've purchased it at Westmarine and at Sav-On tackle in Santa Fe Springs, Sav-On tackle replaced Salt Away with Corrosion X. I used to use C X on my boat, its an awesome product. Its not cheap but you definitely get what you pay for.

Is salt-away different/better than salt-x? I generally wash off rods/kayak with salt-x. I prefer a freshwater only rinse on my reels and then speed-x to get ready for the next trip.
