I like to visit the DFG in Seal Beach, . I like to see who I have working for me and make them earn the hundreds of dollars I pay them each year in fishing and hunting license and tags and stupid lobster cards... ake th[/HTML]

Damn it, I should have gone to Squidco! I didn't read enough of the fine print on the DFG electronic license page. I thought I could print my fishing license immediately. Turns out annual licenses only come via snail mail - they get 15 days.

Otherwise the process was easy - no convenience charge.

Edit: Whew. Although the DFG didn't send me a copy of my fishing license, I was able to log into the system and print a temporary copy. Thanks to Jim Sammons for the heads up. I wonder if the lobster report card in my order mucked things up.

Paul, you do print out the temp and then get the official one in the mail. I have done this the last couple years.

Same here.....print it, carry it and wait for the real one to come in the mail. if I recall I only fished one weekend with the printed license, I received the real one in the mail within 7days.
