its no secret, there's a large volume of fish off LJ. They've been there for a little over over a week as far as i know. I've given them three shots for nada, so for u weekend warriors here's a few tips.

the fish have been off the very west edge of the kelp 110-300' (at least 3-4miles from the launch)

the currents movin like a river and it gets warm in the afternoon so be ready to do alot of peddling/paddling (think 15-20miles in 8-10hrs) bring water and be ready to go all day for maybe ONE shot at fish

the fish seem to be in large fast moving schools feeding on micro bait so trolling a mac around all day is pointless (and dangerous with all the traffic that will be on the water)...if you want to target YT, bring a yoyo rod and a jigstick/ use your livewell for a cooler or keep it dry (less weight). use your eyes and meter and when u see a sign fish, pick ur iron...remember you if your lucky you'll get one or two 10sec shots at hooking a fish, if your dick'in around with bait u might not even know u missed a shot...have faith in the iron

Most likely you wont even see fish, but as long as your not that guy trolling a mack 150' behind you all day, you'll be able to manage, the crowds and no one will hate you....unless u catch a fish
