Ditto that! I am a Noob to this as well, listening to these boards, talking with others while on the water, getting in time on the yak, and just a touch of common sense, has gone a long long way to make me a more respectful and knowledgeable fisherman. Another Plasticman Submission
Rockfish, I believe...Can someone tell me what kind? I caught 3 of these this morning. Each was between 10 and 12 inches. Rockfish - Black over Pink - 10.75" - La Jolla ![]() |

Looks like a Red Vermillion to me, unless it has a bunch of white spots also that I can't see.

Possibly copper rockfish or starry.......I can't tell the difference most of the time........nice fish either way
