I'm thinking until the first day I fish but I'm definitely going to try and hold out for a little longer.

If we can get a rally going and other boards involved I will hold out, It starts here...

Can always fish Irvine or Corona. Hate to say it but the wife gets me my license for Christmas every year. I mainly fish up North and loosing Pt Dume and the surrounding area totally sucks. I fished there growing up in the 70's on boats out of Paradise Cove & the Malibu Pier. Got a Kayak this Fall and now we are going to loose a great Rockfishing spot. Guess I am going to have to get in at least one more trip.

Same here, axed the license gift thing this year. I believe I am not going to buy a license, I have been paying for licenses for about 34 years, and it has done nothing except to be put in this sad state of affairs with the rest of the fishing population, I feel as though the state, government, and the dfg has let us all down, why keep giving them money, they aren't doing anything but Fu@King things up for the entire state fresh and salt water combined

N/A I have a lifetime license. It comes in the mail every year.
