Nice information here,
I have been out when conditions go very wrong in both boats and yaks,
the ocean deserves alot of respect, and just about the time you stop or forget to respect it things can get ugly in a hurry.
I heard about this incident and though they were newbies it was still disturbing...thoughts and prayers to the families and friends...
A great reminder for everyone to be safe out there....
