Hbird 500 series problems
The sonar reading on my Hbird 500 series is not showing. I still see the DI read, depth, temp, etc. But no sonar signal. Well the 455 gives a weak, unreadable pixalated line but nothing at 200. ...

Friday--surf was non-existent from 5 till noon. So were the YT unfortunately.
Gonna keep an eye on the web cam to see if the low surf holds into Sunday.

Humminbird and SD Card
I've a 500 series HUmminbird. It can export waypoints/tracks to an SD card. I can edit those tracks on the PC via Hbird software. But how is the data on the SD card uploaded to the Hbird unit? ...

Congrats! I got skunked the day before--same conditions--with simultaneous flyline and egg sinker lines out. I'm still not sure if that is better or worse than bringing a nice sized YT up...

in November. I'd expect sand bass to win it. But you can't rule out a bag of heavy spotties!
