Once the FF shut down, the battery got a chance...
Once the FF shut down, the battery got a chance to "rest" and the voltage came back up to 10+ volts. If you had tried to run the FF again, the battery would have powered it briefly before the unit...

The drag seems like it should be about the same (to me, anyway). Both have a transducer in the water. On the rudder, it's mounted a little deeper, but I taped over the cable, so that should minimize...
