We all know there are those occasional jerks everywhere in the world, whether it is in their nature or they just have a bad taste of humanity in their mouth. However, some of the most pleasant people are those that FISH.
Well, I want to give a shout-out to a man who I JUST met today when I was in a tackle shop getting some gear. He heard that My wife and I were looking at expanding our tackle supply. Long story short, he has quit his life long hobby of fishing of all kinds due to a bad back. Former Marine officer back in the Vietnam Era (Semper Fi) I could tell he would be easy to get along with. As he was sharing some stories about his time fishing off of the beaches of Okinawa and all around the world we appreciated this man's time on earth. He was very generous and has given us a few pieces of his old collection of Tackle just to be a nice guy.
Shout out to him as he upholds the longest tradition of a great sportsman and a fellow fisherman.
