Team Sewer Veterans Day Fishing

First and foremost I'd like to give a special thanks to those that served are serving in the military.

As far as fishing goes Roby and I arrived at the stomping grounds shortly after 5am to no wind, flat water and not a cloud in the sky.

This is what the morning looked like as we headed out

These guys threatened to ram my kayak if I didn't put my harpoon away.

Bait bites Sabiki, Hali swallows bait and gets hooked on Sabiki, Roby gaffs and lands the hali and possibly now holds the world record for the largest hali ever caught on a sabiki.

Here's what I landed but not before a terrible gaff shot

Fishing was so good that by 9am we were talking about heading in and and having breakfast. We decided to stick around and since it wasn't Sunday we figured we would hit up the best sandwich shop east of the Mississipi..............Tony's favorite restaurant............Busy Bee!

We went, we conquered, we were home before 2pm........can't beat that!!!

Roby, if you've stopped wearing the orange windbreaker, I'll take it. Jim

Use bigger plastics/bait or just move into a spot where Jorge just caught two halibut.

Awesome story and catch, thanks for sharing! Mental note, stop buying the cheapest sabiki's, because you just never know...

Sounds like a great day of fishing all the way around. Especially, when you catch a "Monster" bait on the sabiki. Monster bait for a sea lion that is...
