Ghostfest the revenge ToadsToadsOnly style.

Caught this little guy amongst the fleet last sat number 6 for me within the last couple months but my first LJ tanker. I was stoked ! Taped out at 50" how heavy is a seabass this size anyway ?

I has a couple 51"ers this year, one was 36#s, the other 43#s. The weight can vary a lot based on whether they're spawned out or not. Your's looks around 40... Nice fish!

I thought it looked like an escolar also (White Tuna) thats actually one of my favorite sushi to eat.

Thanks guys the last few times I been out to La Jolla I got rocked by the exotics so it is nice to finally put one on board. Purchasing a Hobie was the best thing I could of possibly done to increase my chances with the exotics, man peddling makes things so much easier I have so much more time to fish when paddles are not in my hands.

True. The one that came my way was over 55" and 48 pounds..... Kinda skinny, but still plenty of fine dining to go around.
