Lower Colorado River, Walters Camp to Squaw

We just completed the 3rd tour from Walter's Camp to Squaw. After camping at Walter's the first night, we paddled and camped at each 4S, Taylor Lake and then Lake Ferguson (4 days, 3 nights on the river). From Ferguson, we hugged the California channel before bringing it home to Squaw Lake. A fantastic trip needless to say!

From Walter's we had Robert and May (previous managers of Walter's Camp) drive two vehicles down to Squaw for $100 each. They are both nice and reliable. Since they do not work at Walter's Camp any longer, they are running shuttles from anything South of Parker Dam to Imperial Dam. If you would like their information, let me know, Robert was eager for me to spread the word.

The fishing is awesome along the way. Since we were traversing, camping, fending off "Mozzies" (mosquitos) and then fishing, I did not quite dial in the pattern this time. However, it sounded like Chris138, who I met at Taylor, was able to land a bunch of largemouth there. Very nice to meet you by the way!

Here are some pics of our adventures! Cheers all.

Great report and really nice meeting you out there. We did real well on the green bass using dark and natural colored senkos and cali rolls. Even got a dink smallmouth in the river throwing weightless senkos.

Hopefully one day we will be able to do the river camp trip like you guys did, looked like a blast!
