Thanks for the info! I'm looking forward to your and others reviews.
Have you decided on seating and how you might be able to load it atop your lumber rack? Not having a boat on a trailer would make it possible for me and others to securely store it.

For the time being, I'm going to try keeping the hatch clean and just sit on the SeaDek. After spending a few long days on the water I will decide if I really need the back support and whether to put a bass seat on. I know Bob is going directly to the bass seat option on his boat.

My winch plan to get the boat up on the rack is dependent on there being Boondox landing gear wheels installed so i'm not dragging the boat across the driveway after getting it out of the garage. I made the ramps today, as I will need them tomorrow to get the boat back into the bed of the truck by myself. Don't have to worry about dragging tomorrow as the bow will be floating at the launch ramp. The Boondox should arrive in the next week or two.

Kai, your solo looks great. Saw mine today for the 1st time. Rigging might be slow as the #1 item for installation is the BooneDox landing gear and they are still on back order. AFTER they are installed then comes the Hobie rails, rod holder and DragonFly 7. Last might be the seat and bait system.

ON A SIDE NOTE, it appears a dozen Solo Skiffs are now sold in our So Cal area. And rumor has it there are lots of PA's available for resale, might be a great time for new PA buyers to get into the market.

REMEMBER guys these boats are NOT designed for the open ocean, however mine will sea the waters of Gonzaga, La Jolla, Asuncion, Point Loma, Mag Bay along with the local lakes and bays, might even take it to Kentucky in May.
Tight Lines.

Bob did you see the BooneDox Drifter (hammock stand) seems like a nice stand. Check it out.

Just finished double decking my kayak lift - boat slides right out of the truck via the ramps and straight into it - seems to work pretty well...

And - the old 64 1/2 convertible just slides right in under it all. Love it when a plan comes together...

Now to see the convertable going down the road WITH the Solo and PA, that would be the ticket. Looking good Kai, GREAT job.
