First time on the water in who knows how long and DAMN was it nice to get out there and paddle around. Been studying studying my face off and haven't had time to do pay LJ a visit since some time in 2018, and maybe not since late 2017! My shame is real. But, hey, the dry streak is over. Wow. So peaceful and nice; makes me remember why I love paddling and fishing. A little peace of mind before the bar exam in a week

Was fishing with my little bro, and he got his bait raked a few times on the flyline. Looked kinda like a halibut rake, but on the flyline my guess would be a hungry barracuda. Anybody know if cuda will bite at macs like that?

No keepable, edible fish though.

I think I saw a dude on a boat get a calico on his downrigger

Big Gars will eat a full size iron, so why not. But WSB can leave some nice puncture marks too.

Congrats on getting out again.

I say barracuda if the reel wasn’t in free spool.
