Bass gear

Looking for a rod to try my hand at catching small fish in the bay and/or going after the lake bass. Found some good stuff on offerup, but it seems like the bass gear commands a spooky high price for light tackle!

Have a couple beater yt rigs to trade if any bass fishermen want to move up to the big water on the cheap.

Theres never a lot of bass gear here on BWE. Best places I've found online are bloody decks and western bass. Just make sure you clean your gear thoroughly after the saltwater as 90% of bass gear isnt build for the bays we fish in...

how much are you looking to spend for something new? and what are you looking for baitcasting or spinning set up. im asking cause last thing you want to do is buy cheap gear that work and ruin the whole experience for you.

Oh, another thing about bass tackle in the bays....

Go up one size/weight for everything you would on fresh water. It's a safe way to make sure if momma bites, you have a fighting chance.
