7/9 LJ - Nada

Beautiful morning, bait was easy. Dragged one high and one low around the NW corner, down south a bit, round again, then out where the birds were working. Under the birds it was mostly barracuda, dolphin and mackeral working chovies (or something that size). Saw one dude get a yeller in that area but no other signs that I saw. 7 hours on the water for 1 soft bite that I think was a halibut given the scratches, the fact it was down low and the good crushing it got but I'm no expert. Fun experience as usual, hope I do better next time (also as usual).
