I have been using the Garmin striker 4 plus on my outback.
Has gps but no charts. I have been able to find my waypoints so that’s a plus. So far after twos years of almost every weekend it’s still works like the day it was installed. I bought my at bass pro shop for around 139 plus tax. If you need the charts look at the low end echomap. That’s my penny’s worth |

+1 on the Garmin.
If you get the clear view model the transducer is much longer so you may have to get creative with the install depending on the year of your yak. |

Thank you. I was leaning toward Garmin but I’m unsure about the transducer fitting in the lowrance ready spot for it without fussing with a different plate.
