HMMM...I think we had this discussion.
...aside form the Bonito vs Bonita debate, I though it interesting to point out that these fish bite. Not just the hook but anything you put their mouth to. Several of them bit down on my pant-leg while in the kayak!

Bonies!
Fun to catch and they eat well too (but I am Portuguese and pretty much eat anything with fins
 ). If you bleed them and eat them the same day as they have no shelf life. I even like Mackerel!Janine
