If you're not catching anything, it may as well be a 33 lb halibut!

Yum!

Phishphood, you look very familiar to me.

One summer day about 2 years ago when the fish were boiling all around us, I was practicing my long distance casting with a topwater iron. I felt like I was zinging them out a half mile or so (in my own mind, at least), and was feeling quite pleased with my manly prowess.

Then a guy who looked just like you casually cruised by and let rip with some long distance casts that made my eyes pop. It was like he was having fun revving his engine at a stoplight.

Maybe it was you?

Mr. Nice guy,

The only way any of my casts would be eye popping would be how short they usually are. Also my kayak is pretty unique, bright orange with a completely open deck so if it was me, then thank you for the compliment and I didn't mean to show off.

Oh, also didn't move to the area til fall 2015.
