You have to enter one division or the other as we are allowing live or cut bait only in the halibut division.

$25 gets you a swag bag for the first 100 people, fish tacos for lunch and a raffle ticket.

I haven't done many tournaments, and never had anything to weight either (yeah, sad story), in the past, there was a weigh boat that would come around to weigh your catch. Will that be the case this year? Or will there be something different?

We just confirmed a second kayak in the raffle. A Malibu Kayaks Stealth 9 in stone, this will be plumbed and ready from OEX Sunset Beach.

Awesome, Andy! That will make for another great raffle prize. 2 kayaks plus an assortment of all kinds of other fantastic prizes. This is shaping up to be an epic tournament!

We will be selling raffle tickets for $1 while everyone is hanging out enjoying the lunch that will be prepared for everyone there. Buy as many as you want, this is going to be a big part of the money we are raising for our So Cal HOW.

Andy, if I join both divisions can I fish live bait for halibut on one rod and artificial bait(for bass) on the other?

Obviously, I'm aware that catching a bass on live bait does not count..................based on the size of the baits that I like to use for halibut I doubt a bass will swallow it

Jorge, I set it up this year where you had to specify one or the other, I hoped to persuade guys without livewells or just not into bass fishing an option to participate. Depending on how many we draw to the halibut division will determine what we do next year.

62 anglers and counting. Hopefully we'll get to 100 by tournament day. This will be a great day for a great cause! Can't wait....
