Catalina Day trip Calico - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

2 weeks ago it was my GF's birthday and she has always wanted to go to Catalina. So we put to use the free trip for her from the Catalina Express and made sure we were on the first boat out. Ate a little breakfast and headed down to Descanso Ocean Sports. The bite was real slow.. you would find several bass grouped together with very few being in the mood to kill the entire swimbait and not just the tail. All in all a fun day though. Solidified my want to kayak camp on the island this summer.
