HH and the Blade

After Andys trip the other night had to try out the Blade in the harbor so launched at 8am and paddled and fished my way down to the bridge. The spotties where biting along the dock areas on the plastic

Stopped along the way at the shallows by the launch ramp

Then hit the flats along PCH

Got to the north side of the bridge and scored this nice spottie on the Bolt Thrower (first on this year)

Next cast and BAM!!! pulling drag in and out of the rocks had to move 3 times to get this on to the yak and took 2 pics

Wish I brought the scale

Finished off the day working the channel back for a few more

Total 6 spotties and 4 sandies

Baits Bolt Thrower, smoking shad Fluke, 3inch Big Hammer Spottie Special on a 3/8 oz Warbait head and Uni Butter

Great day on the water landed at 1pm

Dang, if I ever have a day like that in HH I might actually like the place. Great job.

Nice outing Steve. That was one heck of a chunky spotty. Hey, I know that honey hole.
