Newport beach rockfish

We launch at Kids beach around 7:30 a.m. last Sunday to search for some rockfish. Had issue with fish finder not reading the depth but managed to find couple rock fish including 12 inch sandbass. Condition was perfect and sun was out.I love my new to me revo 13 feel a little faster then my outback. Sorry for late report.

Looks nice out there! How much weight were you using to get to bottom with that swim bait?

on a lead head or double dropper? Only been out there once and used squid which worked well, but kept pulling up smaller fish.
