Nice day on the water this morning, very little wind as compared to sunday. Headed out to my recent "regular spot" and began throwing surface iron. After a couple of casts up pops this guy and game on! After deck is cleared and fish is secured I proceed to hook up another one, but this time not so lucky. Some yellowtail fights require split second decisions because of various obstacales in the way, seals, bouys, rocks, etc. Well, this time faced with a split second decision I made the wrong choice and line snaps. I should have "turned right instead of left". Thats yellowtail fishing! Anyway lots of fun.

Nice seeing you again Dave. Saw a couple of footprints and breaking fish, but skunked (besides a bonie). Thanks once again.

Ever since finding the "honey hole" last friday I have been having the time of my life! Catching kayak yellowtail is my favorite way to fish. I've been so lucky the last six or so days catching 7 or 8 yellows over 25# I know it will end soon but am having the time of my life!! I am very glad that others have got good quality tails also,I'm sure they are all just as stoked as I have been........

If it's a battery to the "fishfinder", I don't think the blue water hunter needs it .
