Many thanks to the KFACA volunteers

A very sincere thank-you goes out to all the wonderful volunteers who made the Fred Hall Shows possible for the Kayak Fishing Association of California.

Without your help, we would not have raised close to $1,500 - money that we'll stretch out to the max in striving for the best possible MLPA outcome for kayak anglers.

I enjoyed meeting each and every one of you - what a great crew! You are all doing your part. Let's keep the teamwork flowing through the next difficult two years.

Of course a special thank-you is due OEX Kayak Centers and Malibu Kayaks, who donated a sweet new Malibu X--13 for our raffle grand prize. The lucky winner is Eddie Sison. Congratulations!

I'd also like to single out Steve Green for recognition. We know him as Landwhale. Steve went above and beyond during the course of the shows, always ready to lend a hand. We couldn't have done it without you Steve.

That's for sure. Steve was everywhere. Just about any booth I spent
time at, Steve was working it. It really messed up my head at first...

It was fun helping out at the KFACA booth. I got to spend time talking to a lot of guys in the sport and a lot of guys wanting to know about it. I hope I didn't give yak fisherman a bad name Not to mention I got to shoot the crud with Margarita Mike for a while on two different days.

Tight lines all,

Sherm
