Dana Point - Sunday 08-07

Okay, guess my luck ran out.

Hit Dana Point again Sunday, things were a little different. Bait was still 4-6" sardines but hitting the bottom of the barrel so to speak, weak and half dead. Water temp was down to 69.5 degrees, a 6 degree difference. The area closer to the beach were dirty, outer kelp was fairly clean though. The bite was very slow, covered four miles catching 3 shorts and missing a larger model hooked up a trolled hard bait.

Oh well...
