Bad Timing For You Pal...Sorry.

I haven't caught a Boney in years. Ended up with one on the sabiki yesterday in LJ while making bug bait. Any other trip and it would've been a release...sorry pal, get in the tank, it's bug season...62 keeps is the tally.

Way to go man! I would love to hit them on the feathers like when I was a teenager.

I made a bug bait run in LJ during Sunday's incoming tide. A bit breezy with (3) fellow yakkers and a few boats also out there. Got the boney, a dozen 1-2# greenies and 100+ Spaniards (Hobie tank topped off). The only rigs I brought were Sabiki's, torpedos and a bass rod. I marked a lot of bait at 30+ feet but zero life on the surface. Sounded real slow for the guys I talked to.
