Question Seeker Black Steel G6480 8'

http://www.charkbait.com/cs/csrodskrBS.htm

I've read of people recommending them as multipurpose rods; Bait, jig, and surface iron. What do you think?

I have a few Seeker black steels and they are excellent rod. As to that exact rod, I have no experience. It sounds like it wound fit a variety of kayak uses though. Maybe longer than you need for bait and yo-yo but it would work well enough. Should throw the Light iron ok too. Mike

My thoughts exactly. The extra length might be nice. It's not an easy reach over my bow with a 7 footer.
