The wind never got going here yesterday, just a few gusty times in the afternoon for like 30 minutes at a time then it would die down, so I decided to go out today. Beautiful day here today, glad I went out.

Bait barge is out of sardines, so I was stuck with 3"-4" anchovies because I didn't bring my Sabiki setup today. I heard of reports of bigger halibut out near the pipe at around 70', so I headed that way and caught a few Calicos along the way. I found some really nice greenback schools out near the barber poles, so the anchovies came in handy for making some bigger baits. I spent a few hours with some dropper looped macs in 50'-90', with one approx. 4' feisty Leopard shark released at the yak. One seal showed up but didn't want anything to do with the shark. I only took one picture today... sunset over Catalina Island.
