It's a damn good boat... $145 for a 3/4 day is kind of steep in my opinion but I absolutely love that boat and crew. Good luck!

HMMMMMM let me see,
Fresh organic Ahi is about 18$ a pound.

18 times 80lb of ahi = well, you do the math.

$145 on a 3/4 day boat...THAT'S SHEEEEP!!!

I don't begrudge the guys making money when they can. At $145 the Malihini next Friday is already sold out as are most of the other 3/4 day boats. As Driftwood pointed out, at $18/lb, it only takes one small fish to break even.

The fishing industry has been loosing money for years. Many boats have gone out of business i.e. the Indian and others. I for one am happy to see them make money again. The MlPA and now the PEW is/will make it real hard on them to make a living. Momo fish, with all do respect, you need to do your research.
