Yesterday the Turners booth had a HUGE line at show opening and the checkout line stretched to the back of the booth. A lot of people were not willing to stand in the line. The only items in the ad that I noticed they sold out of were the Sashimi poppers and Bonita. I don't know if they have a daily allotment and the Turners guys would/could not say - plausible deniability I'm sure.

The Bluewater Carnage rods looked like a really good buy. Good components. Would be hard to build it for $50. They still had some at the end of the show last night. But they are mass produced, so look them over.

Great buys on the Promar hoop nets and Assault/Deception jigs (shameless plug since I work the show for them)

I did not get a chance to walk the whole floor. Not really anything I was shopping for. Normal good buys on lead/leadheads at a couple different spots, swimbaits - I have a big Rubbermaid tub of the damn things so I must resist getting more.

Will post an update if I see any don't-miss buys

Never having been to a FH show before, I'm just curious if Z-Man has a booth or a rep, or someone stocking a bunch of their stuff. I'd like to get some of their extra large swimbaits but I want to see the stuff in hand before I buy. The only places I've found that stock them are online so I can't paw the merchandise before buying.

Z-man is in booth 540. There are a couple others too. They looked really good, and remember that in the smaller booths you can negotiate.

List of exhibitors is here.
