JSF (Santa Rosa Island)

Took 10 of our guys to Santa Rosa over the weekend and a blast. The wid was crazy but the guys were hella cool. Did three days on the island fishing. Took the yaks out the second day and Zack nailed a nice WSB in the kelp. He also got a nice Ling off the sparce reefs we found. Not much caught on this trip but was able to get and get away from reality. Oh ya that was Zacks first WSB and we fed the entire camp off it. Look at doing a Santa Barbara Island trip next.

Yes amazing I would love to do something like that as well. I bet we could plan one ourselves with a little inside scoop from these guys.

Island packers took us out there. They are very strict on how your packed. Nothing can be in your yak. all rods and reals bundled together and the same twith paddles. Your bags are weighted and you must put special tags and landyards on your yaks that they provide. This trip is epic with a big group and you we will need the team work to make things easier. We loaded all our yaks for the crew and unloaded in a group to the peir.
