Not sure where CV has a beach but I hope to launch from Tidelands between 6-7 it's going to be very hot and I like to dive for cover under the bridge if need be. Driving a plumbers truck and have a Blue Hobie.

This is where the beach in CV is.

It is called Bayside Park.

If you don't mind a newbie tagging along, I'd be interested in joining you.

I was thinking about going to MB Sunday AM, but I'd rather tag along with somebody I might learn something from...

How was the fishing in the back bay? I would have thought the heat would have that water real warm? I might try to make it out there myself.
Cheers, J

Lately it has been decent.

Usually I only fish for about 2.5 hrs at a time.

Last time I caught 20 spotties and a few corvina.

Today I caught 13 in about 2 hrs.

I usually launch about 8 AM and off the water before 11.

Well I just might see you out there I will be in a Yellow PA. Debating between Coronado and CV right now....I was fishing the west side last week and it was slower than usual. I did ok out by the bridge and sailboat moorings.
