Hey Druko, how much kelp is out at the breakwall? When I fished there mornings last year, in the spring the kelp was thick and the calicos were big. By September the kelp was mostly gone and the calicos were pretty small.
I hear you can still catch the big calicos at night out there, but I don't fish then. Seems like when the cover is gone the fish hide out by day. |
