LJ 2/17 - pretty slow

There was an armada at gray light.
For no reason though.
No fish caught today.
Had 1 bump on a live bait, but think it was a seal.
Lots of current.
I wouldn't waste my time and go out tomorrow.

No fish, high surf, bait stealing seals, and great whites off of the point... I'd stay home also...

The launch is all Jacked up too.
Congrats to all those who were able to "hook up" with a tow truck and get their cars unstuck.
I saw one poor fellow who even got stuck twice!

Launched at 4:30, landed at 11:00. Should have gone in at 8:00. I don't think Adi took any pics this time.

I see weather is cooler tomorrow. Maybe we try anyway so we can see the place and study how to get kayaks to water. I bring 2 of my friends who want to know where the live. Hope to see some of you on the ocean. I have green cobra kayak and wear hat. We are three. Great site. Thanks!

First – it ain’t true that Adi didn’t take any pictures. I got one of an awesome sunrise, and a few of my only catch – a big soupfin.

I’m glad if that lil’ batch of photos I posted the day before helped to inspire so many of you to get out yesterday, including some of our PB brothers. Plastic fleet sure was out in full force. It looked like a friken’ tournament. I hope you remember that when the time comes to enroll for WCW 07… There are some handy things you can read on this board every once in a while, aren’t there?

Now I’d like to comment about this whole thread… With all due respect - it is one thing to NOT post… Posting false info is something completely different. Though majority of people probably got the cryptic message behind all the replies, not everyone did.

BWE is all about big fish. Not big lies. This is public board - if you don’t want the info to be out, don’t post. …or come play WCW with us and help me convince BWE powers to be to turn this board into private forum… He he, WCW players only (here he goes again… ).

That’s just my personal opinion.

"Had 1 bump on a live bait, but think it was a seal."

Umm, was this the bump you got on live bait. Did it taste like a seal?

Wow. This thread took a direction I didn't expect.
My apologies to all. I didn't mean to rub anyone the wrong way (I appreciate your feedback Adi and Patrick) and most definitely didn't mean to misdirect anyone. It was posted as a joke and I expected to see lots of pix from the day (mine included) in the thread. With that many people catching fish I didn't even consider that catches wouldn't be posted.

Jimbo, all is good.

I think I'm just upset that I got skunked when everyone around me was hooking up...

Nice work guys. Saturday was epic, Sunday not so epic. jimbo, it's all good now. My whole take is don't let the reports dictate when you fish. If the bite hasn't been good, someones gotta get it going and it may as well be me. Sometimes you just gotta pay your dues instead of being a fair weather fan.

Sorry jimbo I didn't know who you were. I was planning on not posting until the weekend was over. I didn't want a crowd out there on the spot. I had to show the pic to a couple people to get an ID. pm me your email and I'll send you the hi res pics if you want.

With the storm tomorrow, then a 4-day work week ahead.. I don't think it will be too crowded during the week.. as for next weekend, who knows.. The bite may not stay around till then...
